Owing to the Nigerian Government’s decision to address the issue of insufficient daily sustenance for the ever teeming population, the government introduced policies to reduce overdependence on foreign/imported goods and thereby promote self sufficiency.
BUA Flour Mills Limited, a subsidiary of BUA International Limited was incorporated in March 2005 as a Private Limited Liability Company was established in response to these self sufficiency policies of government; and its own goal to produce quality food with the sole aim of engaging in the production of flour for both local and international markets.
Since its inception six years ago, BUA Flour has been and is still being produced in stringent hygienic conditions. The Flour absorbs more water than other brands, and consequently gives higher yield per bag. It withstands a longer fermentation(less damaged products) time with an unbelievable Oven Spring (extremely good volume). This is as a result of the type of Wheat used, Milling Technique and more importantly the Enzyme Technology and application makes our product absolutely unique.
